My name is Madhukar Basnet, and I was born on July 10, 1985.1 have been actively involved in the travel and tourism industry since 2005, and it has been an incredible journey so far.

For nearly a decade, I had the privilege of running a hotel and restaurant in the vibrant Thamel district of Kathmandu. During this time, I dedicated myself to creating exceptional experiences for guests, managing the daily operations, . . and ensuring the highest standards of service.

In 2013, I took the next step in my career by establishing my consultancy firm located in Sorahakhutte Chowk, Kathmandu, Nepal. As a founder and operator, I have been assisting students who aspire to study abroad, particularly in popular destinations like Japan and Australia. It brings me immense joy to guide these young individuals through the process of pursuing their education overseas and witnessing their personal and academic growth.

Since 2017, I have the honor of being involved with the Kaji Group of Company. Within this esteemed organization. This role allows me to contribute my expertise in marketing and recruitment strategies to help connect talented individuals with rewarding opportunities abroad.

One of the strengths I bring to my work is my proficiency in both English and Japanese languages. Being able to communicate effectively in these languages has opened doors to building strong relationships and facilitating seamless connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Hello everyone.

My name is Jun Takeshima. I was born and raised in Okayama, Japan for 44 years. Currently, I am teaching English and intercultural communication for the youth in Okayama City.

I have been interacting with and supporting Nepalese people in Okayama since my first visit to Nepal in 2011 as part of JICA teacher training abroad. Since 2015, I have been participating in non-profit organization activities to promote more for two-way international cooperation and exchange between Japan and Nepal.

When I net and talked with Nepali students learning Japanese at Sekai Educational Consultancy in Kathmandu in May, 2023, I was very impressed by their enthusiasm to learn Japanese and their desire to come to Okayama and other places in Japan. That led to a consultation and exchange meeting for Nepalese living in Okayama, which was well received, in December.

Currently, there are over 3.2 million people of foreign origin living in Japan, of which about 160,000 are from Nepal (the 6th place). Our schools are located in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Okayama, Fukuoka, Kagawa, Hiroshima, Okinawa, Sendal, and other areas in Japan. Why don't you fly from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, to Japan, the land of the Rising Sun, with courage and hope? We look forward to helping you meet your challenge with our knowledge and network.

My hometown Okayama is famous for Korakuen Garden, one of the three most famous historical gardens in Japan. It is also known as "Okayama, Land of Sunshine" because of its good weather and few disasters. The beauty of the Seto Inland Sea, the delicious fruits, seafood, and convenient transportation such as the Shinkansen bullet train make Okayama one of the most popular cities in western Japan. We may be able to work with you not only in Japanese language study, but also in various cultural experiences and exchange activities.

We really hope that as many people from Nepal as possible will come to Japan to learn Japanese language and culture.
